Having grown up in a bilingual household with an Anglophone father and a Francophone mother, and studied in both languages, I understand firsthand how language shapes opportunity and belonging. Having had a Swedish immigrant grandfather and changed my own name twice, I also know that official documents often represent much more than mere formalities: they crown the completion of studies, open the way for a fresh start, or touch the very core of a person's identity.

During my youth, I moved ten times across Quebec, Ontario, and British Columbia. This experience allowed me to become familiar with the country's various educational systems and institutional realities. I understand the administrative hurdles people face and the life transitions that often accompany them.

For me, official documents are not simply administrative requirements. They are instruments of identity, continuity, and opportunity. When entrusted with a document, I recognize that I am handling more than words on a page: I am helping preserve a person's story, ensure its faithful representation, and support the next stage of their journey. I approach that responsibility as a steward of stories and identities, committed to conveying them faithfully, preserving the trust placed in me, and helping people move confidently toward whatever comes next.
